Moniepoint Microfinance Bank, Nigeria’s leading financial partner for small and medium-sized businesses, has introduced Moniebook, an innovative all-in-one Point-of-Sale (POS) and business management solution designed to redefine how SMEs and multi-location enterprises operate.

Moniebook is the first solution in Nigeria to seamlessly integrate payments and bookkeeping into a single tool, offering businesses across retail, hospitality, health, and other sectors a unified platform to manage their daily operations. By combining powerful software with durable hardware, the product equips business owners with real-time insights, operational control, and the tools they need to scale efficiently.

Built to eliminate operational bottlenecks, Moniebook enables businesses to manage inventory, track sales, process payments, monitor staff activity, foster customer relationships, and generate detailed reports all from one dashboard. The system is designed to simplify complex workflows, reduce losses, and increase profitability.

From supermarkets and restaurants to pharmacies and fashion outlets, Moniebook helps business owners automate stock tracking, prevent expiries, assign staff roles, and standardize operations across multiple branches.

Speaking on the launch, Babatunde Olofin, Managing Director of Moniepoint MFB told Fintech Insights:

“Our mission has always been to equip businesses with the tools they need to grow. Moniebook is engineered to be a trusted growth partner—giving entrepreneurs full visibility over sales, staff, customers, and inventory in real-time. This aligns strongly with our commitment to delivering financial happiness and powering the dreams of millions of Nigerians.”

Moniebook has already gained strong traction. During its beta phase, over 4,000 businesses onboarded, processing more than ₦19 billion in transactions. Early users have reported significant improvements in efficiency and revenue tracking.

A retail entrepreneur, known as BBQ Chef, shared:

“I discovered through Moniebook that I made over ₦2 million in my first month! It tracks my sales, manages inventory, and is very easy for my staff to use. Any business not using Moniebook is missing out.”

Oluwole Adebiyi, Head of Product for Moniebook, emphasized that the solution was built around the realities of Nigerian business owners:

“For too long, SMEs have relied on multiple disconnected systems to handle payments, inventory, and sales data—creating complexity that limits growth. Whether you run one store or multiple outlets, Moniebook gives you everything in one place—fast, secure, and scalable.”
