Polaris Bank has renewed its commitment to men’s health with the launch of its 2025 free prostate cancer screening campaign, offered in partnership with the renowned Men’s Health Clinic.

The initiative, themed “Men, Your Health Matters – Get Screened Today!”, is set to provide free prostate cancer screening to 250 men aged 40 and above between November 24 and December 31, 2025.

The latest edition follows the Bank’s highly impactful 2024 programme, which delivered early detection support to hundreds of Nigerian men. With prostate cancer ranking as the second most common cancer among men in Nigeria and with early detection offering survival rates above 98%, Polaris Bank is doubling down on preventive healthcare by covering all screening costs for participants.

Polaris Bank Managing Director/CEO Kayode Lawal in a press statement made available to Fintechinsights highlighted the programme’s importance, “The testimonials from last year strengthened our resolve to keep championing men’s health. By making screening accessible and affordable, we’re breaking barriers and encouraging more men to take charge of their well-being while enjoying the unique banking experience Polaris offers.”

Founder and Chief Medical Director of Men’s Health Clinic, Dr. Akin Oteniya, added, “Our partnership with Polaris Bank set a benchmark for corporate health initiatives. We are thrilled to continue this mission in 2025, delivering quality care and saving lives through early diagnosis.”

Participation Requirements

The programme is open to all men aged 40 and above.
Participants are expected to have or open a Polaris Bank account. Non-customers can easily request account opening during registration, with zero opening balance and no charges.
