Lagos Tech Fest 2026 to Host 3,000+ Global Participants as Africa’s Tech Leaders Converge in Lagos

Organisers say the 2026 edition will be the largest since the festival’s inception, featuring more than 70 industry-leading speakers, participation from over 1,000 companies across 25 countries, and backing from more than 80 sponsors and 40 media partners.

Eventhive, a leading B2B2C event services company, has announced plans for the sixth edition of its flagship gathering, Lagos Tech Fest, which is expected to attract more than 3,000 participants from around the world.

The annual conference, a core part of the Africa Tech Series, Eventhive’s pan-African platform for technology and innovation dialogue brings together fintech and technology stakeholders across major hubs including Lagos, London, Nairobi, Kigali and Johannesburg.

Scheduled for February 17 and 18, 2026, the Lagos Tech Fest will convene technology executives, startup founders, innovators, investors, global technology firms and policymakers to examine the future of Nigeria’s technology ecosystem and unlock opportunities within Africa’s expanding digital economy.

Organisers say the 2026 edition will be the largest since the festival’s inception, featuring more than 70 industry-leading speakers, participation from over 1,000 companies across 25 countries, and backing from more than 80 sponsors and 40 media partners. A major addition this year is the introduction of four dedicated stages the Money Stage, Off The Record Stage, Innovation Stage and Founder Stage designed to enable deeper, more focused discussions across critical areas of the tech ecosystem.

The two-day festival will host a mix of conferences, closed-door roundtables, live pitch sessions, exhibitions, curated networking events and an industry party aimed at stimulating investment and collaboration within Nigeria’s fast-growing tech sector.

Events will take place across multiple venues in Lagos. Activities on February 17, 2026, will be held at Four Points by Sheraton and The Garden in Ikoyi and Victoria Island, while the main conference on February 18 will be hosted at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island. Ahead of the main programme, the Nigeria Tech Leadership Roundtable is scheduled for February 17 at Four Points by Sheraton, VI, bringing together C-suite executives and senior government officials for high-level policy and ecosystem discussions.

Additional highlights include the Nigeria States Pavilion, which will showcase emerging technology ecosystems across various states, as well as an expanded exhibition floor featuring solutions expected to shape the next decade of Nigeria’s tech industry. An exclusive networking event, tagged After Dark Hours, will also take place at The Garden, Ikoyi, on the evening of February 17.

Commenting on the announcement, Eventhive Chief Executive Officer, Jamiu Ijaodola, described Lagos Tech Fest as a pivotal platform for shaping Nigeria’s digital future.

“Lagos Tech Fest is the annual engine room where the blueprint for Nigeria’s digital future is drawn,” Ijaodola said. “The introduction of four focused stages will ensure participants gain actionable insights and build valuable connections. Our commitment is to create a platform that drives the scale of investment and collaboration needed to cement Nigeria’s position as Africa’s leading tech hub.”

The 2026 speaker line-up includes Uzoma Dozie, Chief Executive Officer of Sparkle; Tayo Oviosu, CEO of Paga; Olumide Balogun, Director for West Africa at Google; Ojoma Ochai, Managing Director of CcHub Africa; Dr Abasi Ene-Obong, CEO of Syndicate Bio; Lexi Novitske, General Partner at Norrsken22; Adedeji Olowe, Founder of Lendsqr; and Victoria Fabunmi, National Coordinator of Nigerian Digital Innovation at NITDA, among others.

Confirmed sponsors for the event include Odoo, Open Access Data Centre, Paga, Tetrad, Cleva, Keystone Bank, Accrue, Radiant Money, Radiant Digilog and Mark Renee LP.
